The University of Washington advisory board of the Master of Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics announced the election of Chetan Tandon as a new member.

The advisory board of the Master of Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics program brings a collective wealth of experience in the field, including representatives from some of the largest, most innovative and influential organizations in the business world. Board members help review content, guide course design and provide updates to ensure the program remains current as the field evolves.

“I’m honored to join the University of Washington’s advisory board, and I look forward to the opportunity to help guide the college’s important work,” said Chetan Tandon, Executive Vice President and CIO of Allen Lund Company. “The Allen Lund Company is known for being involved with logistical committees such as this and we find it valuable to be able to contribute. On behalf of the company, anyway I can lend insight and my expertise is rewarding and purposeful.”

As of 2019 Chetan currently serves as Executive Vice President as well as CIO at Allen Lund Company, a role he has held since March of 2013. Chetan manages ALC’s Information Technology (IT) departments and also leads its Transportation Management System (TMS) product research, development, and implementation for the Allen Lund Company and ALC Logistics.

Chetan’s career with ALC started in 2003 when he joined the company as Oracle Administrator with over four years of experience in the IT Industry including Oracle database administration, project management, and application development. He was promoted to Manager of IT in 2005 and has served as a member of the company’s board of directors since 2018.
